Tiffanie Toner of Rollins College has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II National Player of the Week for March 10-16.

Toner, a sophomore from Kissimmee, Fla., went 10-for-14 (.714) with three home runs for the Tars last week, and also went 2-0 with a five-inning no hitter against Eckerd in her Sunshine State Conference debut.

Against No. 25 Wayne State, Toner went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI's. She also pitched a complete game against the Warriors, giving up just two runs and walking one batter.

In the circle against Eckerd, she struck out eight batters and walked just two in a 9-0 win in which she threw a no hitter.

Toner leads Rollins (16-4) with a .460 batting average and nine home runs.
