Missouri Southern State shortstop Erin Turner is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II Player of the Week for the week of March 25-31.

Turner, a senior from Harrisonville, Mo., hit safely in all six games last week to help lead the Lions to a 6-0 mark, including a win over No. 1 Nebraska-Omaha. Turner hit .619 (13-for-21) with two home runs, seven runs batted in and seven runs scored. She had three-hit games against Pittsburg State and Central Missouri State to go with three two-hit games. She also stole three bases in four attempts.

Turner becomes the second Missouri Southern State player to earn Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II Player of the Week honors this year. Senior pitcher Hailey Stanley won the award for games played March 4-10.
