Brandeis University center fielder Sara Albert has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Player of the Week for the week of April 20-26.

Albert, a junior center fielder from Longmeadow, Mass., went to the plate 16 times this week and reached base 14 times with 11 hits and three walks. She homered in four consecutive games, including two in one game against Bates and another in the second game. She also had one round tripper and one double against both Curry and Salem State. Albert had two RBIs against nationally-ranked Tufts as the Judges stayed close early in their first game of the week. She also drove in three runs against Curry and Salem State and four in game one against Bates. She also hit eight round trippers in her final seven games.
