Pacific Lutheran pitcher Melissa Korb is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Player of the Week for the week of April 15-21.

Korb, a senior from Poulsbo, Wash., allowed no runs and only two hits as she posted a 3-0 record last week. She recorded 14 strikeouts in a no-hitter against Puget Sound, then followed with another 14-strikeout performance in six-inning one-hit shutout over George Fox. She allowed only one hit in five scoreless innings of relief in a shutout over Lewis and Clark. Korb averaged two strikeouts per inning last week, recording 36 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched.

Pacific Lutheran is ranked No. 1 in the most recent USA Today/NFCA Division III Top 25.
