Columbia, MO --Salisbury State University (MD) catcher April Harned is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Player of the Week. This marks the third time in four weeks that Harned has received the honor.

In two games last week, Harned batted .833 (5-for-6) with three home runs and 10 RBI. She hit three home runs and knocked in 10 runs in the first game of a doubleheader and was 1-for-2 with two walks in the second. She also picked off a baserunner at third in the second game.

Harned is now the Salisbury State career leader in home runs (30) and RBI (186). This season she is batting .526 with 12 homers, 11 doubles, and 63 RBI.
