Columbia, MO -- April Harned, senior catcher from Salisbury State University (Maryland) is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Player of the Week for the week of April 2-8. This is the second time in the last three weeks that Harned has earned Division III Player of the Week honors.

In eight games last week, Harned was 17-for-26 (.653) with 15 runs scored, four doubles, four home runs and 22 RBI. Two of the home runs were grand slams, hit in back-to-back games. She also threw out two runners attempting to steal and picked a runner off third base.
