Lower Columbia defeated Mt. Hood 3-0 to claim its third consecutive Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) championship. Lower Columbia avenged a 5-0 defeat to Mt. Hood in the previous contest that forced a final game. Mt. Hood overcame an 8-7 loss to Walla Walla in the first round by posting six consecutive wins to advance to the championship game. This marked the second consecutive year Lower Columbia defeated Mt. Hood in the championship game.
