Oklahoma City made it wire-to-wire at the top spot as the Stars are ranked No. 1 in the season's final NAIA National Rating. Oklahoma City (44-11), which has been ranked No. 1 in each of the eight NAIA National Ratings this season, received 13 of 14 first-place votes for 349 points.
Union (Tenn.) picked up the remaining first-place vote and garnered 330 points to remain in the No. 2 spot for the third consecutive week. Union (55-5) holds at No. 2 despite a runner-up finish to No. 13 Lipscomb in last week's TranSouth Athletic Conference Tournament. Simon Fraser (26-7-1) holds at No. 3 with 320 points. Biola (48-11) and Mary (37-6) switch places as Biola moves up to No. 4 while Mary slips a spot to No. 5. Biola picked up 305 points while Mary received 288 points. The rating takes on even more significance this week as NAIA regional play gets underway. The highest ranked team that fails to win its regional tournament will receive the lone at-large berth to the national finals. Joining the one at-large team in the 16-team field at nationals will be the 14 regional champions and the host school, Athens State. Click here for the complete rating.
