NCAAINDIANAPOLIS, Ind - The NCAA has released its second round of Division II regional rankings that will be used to assist the selection committee in choosing the field of 64 teams that will compete for the 2011 Division II National Championship.

For the rankings, the top 10 teams in each region are listed along with their overall Division II record and their in-region record. Please note that team's inclusion in the rankings does not necessarily guarantee them a berth in the national tournament.

Seven of the eight teams topping their respective regions this week are currently ranked in the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll. No. 1 Alabama-Huntsville (28-1-1) leads the way in the South, while No. 2 Midwestern State (35-4) holds the top spot in the South Central.

Taking the lead in the Southeast this week was No. 3 North Georgia (36-8), while No. 5 Minnesota State Mankato (27-6) garnered the top spot in the Central region. Other NFCA Top 25 teams to earn a No. 1 ranking in their respective regions were No. 7 Bloomsburg (23-3) in the Atlantic, No. 14 Dowling (21-2) in the East and No. 19 Western Washington (26-5) in the West.

The only regional pole sitter not be included in the current NFCA poll is Grand Valley State (21-4) in the Midwest.

Regional rankings are released by the NCAA once a week, usually on Wednesdays.
