
The girls got game Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams for their submitted GPAs for the 2009-2010 academic year. As a second component of the program, all submitted student-athletes who achieved a 3.50 GPA during last academic year are named as girls got game/NFCA Scholar Athletes.
Following closely behind Wallace State this year, was the leader for not only all Division II schools, but all four-year programs as well, the University of Arkansas at Monticello, with a team GPA OF 3.669. Leading Division I for the second season in row was Robert Morris University, who this season turned in a GPA of 3.580. Rounding out the college divisions were McKendree University and Washington University in St. Louis, who led NAIA and Division II, respectively, with GPAs of 3.630 and 3.549.
In the high school categories, Splendora High School (TX) took top honors amongst teams with weighted GPAs with a 4.592, while Arlington High School (NE) was the leader amongst non-weighted schools with a GPA of 3.836.
