STARKVILLE, Miss. - The NFCA has announced the 2011 Louisville Slugger/NFCA NAIA All-Region teams. This season, 160 student-athletes representing 65 institutions were chosen for either a first or second team in each of the five NFCA regions. 

Top-ranked Cal Baptist led the way this season in both total selections and first-team picks. The Lancers had eight overall all-region selections in 2011, with seven of those coming on the first team. 

NFCA member coaches in each of the five regions select the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region teams and honorees are now eligible to be selected as either a first or second team All-American. 

The 2011 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American teams will be announced on Friday, May 27 and will be available on NFCA.org.
