STARKVILLE, Miss. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has announced its 2012 NAIA All-Region teams. This season, 134 student-athletes representing 46 institutions were chosen for either a first or second team in each of the Association’s five regions.

Top-ranked Concordia (Calif.) and No. 4 Central Baptist led all teams this season with seven all-region selections. Central Baptist placed six of its honorees on its respective region’s first team, while Concordia have five first-team choices.

NFCA member coaches in each of the five regions select the NFCA All-Region teams and honorees are now eligible to be selected to one of two 2012 NFCA NAIA All-American teams.

The 2012 NFCA All-American teams will be announced on Friday, May 25 and will be available on NFCA.org.
