LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Fifty-one players from 22 different institutions have been selected to one of three 2013 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region teams, the Association announced on Monday.

National runner-up Phoenix College joined national championship participants Kirkwood Community College and Cowley County Community College as the only programs to get all five nominated players on their respective all-region teams. Two squads, CCBC-Catonsville and Des Moines Area Community College trailed just behind that trio with four selections each.

The 2013 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region squads are typically comprised of one team of 16 players from each of the three NFCA Regions:  East, South and Midwest. The South Region, however, boasted 19 student-athletes on this year’s listing because of ties. 

The 2013 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-American teams will be announced on Fri., June 7 via NFCA.org.
