NFCA/MaxPreps High School Player of the WeekSTARKVILLE, Miss. – Seniors Nicole Sleith of Yough High School in Herminie, Pa., juniors Whitney Cooper of Red Rock High School in Sedona, Ariz., Katie Schultz of Fieldcrest High School in Minonk, Ill., and sophomores Britne' Adams of Chambers Academy in LaFayette, Ala. and Lindsey Warburton of Deer Park High School of Deer Park, Texas have all been named as the High School Players of the Week for their respective regions by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for games played through April 25, 2011. 

In the East Region, Sleith went 5 for 8 at the plate with two doubles and two RBI, while pitching two complete game shutouts. Her first outing on the week was a no-hitter with 18 strikeouts, while her second was a two hitter with 15 strikeouts. On the season the lefty has a .17 ERA holding opposing hitters to .053 batting average helping her team to a 6-0 start on the season. 

Representing the West Region Cooper had quite a week at the plate. The junior had 11 hits, belting 7 homeruns including a grand slam. On the year Cooper is hitting .603 with 19 home runs and owns a 1.500 slugging percentage. 

In the North Region, Schultz was 12 for 19 on the week, highlighted by a 3 for 3 performance in a 10-5 win against Hartsburg-Emden. On the week the junior racked up 11 runs and 6 RBI while burning up the base paths, stealing 14 bases in as many attempts. 

From the South Region, Adams pitched her team to two key victories this week, extending the team's conference record to 10-0 and clinching the Region Championship. In addition to her efforts on the mound the sophomore went 4 for 7 at the plate with 4 runs scored and an RBI. 

In the South Central Region, Warburton hit .875 on the week. In a big win over Dobie High School she was 4 for 4 with two doubles. She leads her team with a .586 batting average with 10 stolen bases, 14 RBI and 29 runs scored helping to extend her team's record to 30-4 overall and 9-1 in conference.
