LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association is proud to release the 2014 NJCAA Division I All-Region teams. Overall, 95 players from 35 different institutions comprised first and second squads chosen from the Midwest, South and West Regions.

 

Six teams, Arizona Western College, College of Southern Idaho, Eastern Arizona College, Blinn College, Chattanooga State Community College and Tallahassee Community College, managed to get all five of their nominated players chosen to one of the region teams. Arizona Western College and Jefferson College tied for the national lead as each program boasted four first-team selections.

The 2014 NJCAA Division I All-Region squads typically consist of two teams of 16 players each from all three of the NFCA’s regions. All first-team all-region choices are now eligible to be tabbed to the NFCA NJCAA DI All-American teams, which are scheduled to be announced on June 4 via NFCA.org.
