Pacific Lutheran's Gretchen Ruecker has been named Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Player of the Week for the week of April 5-11. Ruecker was sizzling with the bat for the Lutes, hitting .727 (8-for-11) during a four-game stretch that included a pair of wins over Willamette and a split over nationally-ranked Linfield.
The Hillsboro, Ore., naive hit two home runs and drove in 10 runs during that stretch.
For the season, the sophomore leads her team with a .469 average, 33 RBIs and a .914 slugging percentage.
