Salisbury University senior Lauren Brenneman has been named the NFCA Division III Player of the week for the week ending March 7, the association has announced. Brenneman led the then-No. 21 Seagulls to a 7-1 week, including a split with then-No. 11 Christopher Newport and then-No. 24 Rowan. 

In the 5-4 win against CNU, Brenneman went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, while she went 6-for-9 against the Profs or Rowan. 

The York, Pa., native went 13 for 24, scoring 13 runs and driving in 15. The catcher had three doubles and five home runs as part of a .542 week.
