TUCSON, Ariz. – Another day is in the books at the NFCA Division II Leadoff Classic in Tucson, Ariz., with just three teams left among the ranks of the undefeated as West Texas A&M, Texas Woman’s and Southeastern Oklahoma State each registered a perfect 4-0 record in pool play.

That trio of squads will carry the top three overall event seedings into the Gold bracket championship round where they will be joined by Grand Canyon (3-1) in a four-team battle for the tournament’s top prize beginning at 10 a.m. MT.

No. 8 Augustana will face-off against Colorado Mesa and No. 24 Dixie State will battle No. 16 Central Oklahoma in Silver bracket action (starts at 9 a.m.). Nova Southeastern will play Cal State San Bernardino and No. 22 Abilene Christian will take to the diamond versus No. 6 Minnesota State Mankato in the Bronze bracket (starts at 9 a.m.). Finally in Copper bracket action (begins at 8 a.m.), No. 23 Molloy will take on Regis (Colo.) while Missouri-St. Louis faces No. 2 UC San Diego.  In addition to bracket play, New Haven and Chowan will also play a doubleheader versus one another to ensure that each squad gets a total of six games in the tournament. 

Single day tickets are available for $10 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under. Special group rates of $5 will also be available for groups of 10 or more youth or military personnel.
