ROUND ROCK, TEXAS – June 22, 2013 – After the completion of pool play in the NFCA Top Recruit Tournament in Round Rock, Texas, the 16U gold bracket took shape with the Texas Bombers STX and Texas Blaze Bonola entering as the only two undefeated teams in 16U. Both the Bombers STX and Blaze Bonola turned in 3-0 records en route to their Gold Bracket seeding.

In the 18U group, six teams earned undefeated records to enter the gold bracket as the LA Maniax, Texas Blaze Gold – Slimp, Dallas Tigers 18U Gold Hernandez, Oklahoma Athletics Gold, Texas Stix Silver and South Texas Kaos.

Other teams making the 16U gold bracket included Texas Freeze Whittington, Texas Blaze Red, Oklahoma Twisters, Oklahoma Attack and MC Elite Gold. Each of the five suffered just one loss while making their way into the gold bracket.

The remaining two 18U gold bracket teams included two 2-1 teams in Texas Blaze 18U and the TX Misfits.

The 16U silver bracket features a pair of winless teams (Team TFS Texas / MLAB Lightning) and six one-win teams heading into bracket play. Team Out of Control, Alliance 16U, Texas Pride Sattler, Ace of Diamonds, Texas Stix Escamilla and Tri-county X-Plosion all headed into the silver bracket after finishing pool play with 1-2 records.

Texas Elite – Baker (2-1) and Texas RBI Elite 9 (2-1) will square off in the first round of the 18U silver bracket after both leaving their pools with 2-1 records. Also in the silver bracket will be North Texas Zoom (1-2) against Team TFS Texas (2-1). Groove 18U (2-1) matches up with RGV Thunder Gold (1-2) and Texas Force – Shahan (2-1) will face Oklahoma Twisters 3n2 Gold (2-1) to round out the silver bracket.

In the 18U bronze bracket, RGV Heat (1-2) will square off with Oklahoma Machine Gold (0-3) and Texas Challengers gold (1-2) will play the Texas Attitude (0-3) in the top half of the bronze bracket. In the bottom half of the bronze bracket, the Austin Stars Gold (1-2) look to face the Texas Crossfire (0-3). Rounding out Copper, the Texas Terror 18U (1-2) will face Texas Reign Fastpitch 18U (0-3).

Four teams will make up the 18U copper bracket following pool play. The Texas Lightning Gold (1-2) will face the Texas Nitro (0-3) and the Texas Impact (1-2) and Starz Gold (0-3) will play one another.

In the 16U gold bracket, TX Bombers STX and Texas Freeze Whittington square off along with the Texas Blaze Red and Oklahoma Athletics – Childers in the top half of the bracket. On the other side of the bracket, the Texas Blaze – Bonola and Oklahoma Twisters 16U square off, while the Oklahoma Attack and MC Elite Gold are set to play.

In the 16U silver bracket Out of Control and Team TFS Texas square off while Alliance 16U and Texas Pride – Sattler face each other. The Ace of Diamonds and MLAB Lightning are set to play one another and the Texas Stix – Escamilla and Tri-County X-Plosion will play.
