NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll
Undefeated Kennesaw State remains No. 1 in the latest release of the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll. The Owls, off to a 35-0 start, received all eight of the possible first place votes.
St. Mary's and Humboldt State remained second and third, respectively. The Rattlers have won nine of their last ten games, while the Jacks have won 19 in a row.
North Florida, currently riding a 23-game win streak, is No. 4 while Florida Southern, winners of 21 consecutive games, checks in at fifth along with Nebraska-Omaha, who moved up 13 spots from No. 18.
Mid-Atlantic power Shippensburg is seventh, while upstart Northern Kentucky, off to a 23-1 start, is No. 8. Cal State Bakersfield is ninth while traditional powers LeMoyne and North Dakota State share the No. 10 spot.
Armstrong Atlantic is up to spots to No. 12. Angelo State makes a return to the poll at No. 13. The Belles are followed by Grand Valley State, Alabama-Huntsville, Texas Woman's and Tampa, who fell 13 spots to No. 17.
St. Cloud State, ranked fifth two weeks ago, is 18th. The Huskies are followed by UC San Diego, SIU-Edwardsville, Bloomsburg and Tarleton State.
Truman State debuts in the poll at No. 23 while 2003 national runner-up Georgia College and State University remains 24th. Barry returns to the poll after being No. 12 in the preseason rankings.
