Jennifer Sharron retired all 21 batters she faced and Jaime Clark drove in three runs to lead USA Blue to a 9-0 victory over Brazil in the Pan Am Games Qualifier Sunday at Maracay, Venezuela. The win moves USA's record to 4-0 in pool play.

Sharron recorded 11 strikeouts and struck out the side in the fifth and seventh innings. The perfect game was the third for the USA pitching staff, which has allowed only one hit in 24 innings pitched.

Clark, who had three hits on the day, opened the scoring with a two-run single in the first inning. Toria Auelua's two-run single capped a three-run third inning. Lauren Bauer collected two hits to extend her hitting streak to 15 games.

USA takes on Mexico Monday at 10 a.m. (EDT) in another pool play game. Pool play concludes Wednesday with playoffs beginning Thursday. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday.
