USA Red (5-1) used a three-run first inning and a five-run fourth inning to rebound from its only loss of the tournament. Natasha Watley tripled and Amanda Freed homered to spark USA Red in the first inning. An RBI-double by Lindsay Gardner and three Phoenix errors helped lead to the fourth-inning outburst.
