Keira Goerl and Catherine Osterman combined on a six-hitter and Stacey Nuveman's fourth-inning RBI-single proved to be the game-winner as USA Red defeated USA Blue 2-1 in game one of a doubleheader Sunday at Spokane, Wash. In the second game, which had to be shortened to four innings due to flight schedules, Kim Depaul's walk off three-run homer capped a five-run fourth inning and led USA Blue to a come-from-behind 6-5 victory to gain a split in the doubleheader and even the record at two games apiece in the USA Softball Shootout.
The next stop on the Shootout is Thursday at Sacramento, Calif. For additional game details, boxscores and game play-by-play, click here.
