LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Northern (Md.) remains at No. 1 for the fourth week in a row according to the latest USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 poll released by the Association on Thursday. The Patriots improved their record to a perfect 15-0 and have yet to allow a single run this season.

Sitting in the No. 2 position this week is John Curtis (La.) with its impressive 32-1 record. Climbing up one spot each in the ranks are Logan (Calif.) and Mission Viejo (Calif.), currently holding down third and fourth, respectively. Following a tough loss to No.1 Northern (Md.), Bishop O’Connell (Va.) dropped three slots to round out the top five.

There were only a few slight changes in the rest of the top 25 this week as well as the lone addition of Greenwood (Ky.). The Gators enter into the poll at No. 25 with an unblemished 23-0 mark.

The USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 poll is compiled by state representatives from across the country.  Records for this week’s poll include all games played through April 30, 2013.
