The Westmoreland County Community College softball coaching staff has been named the NJCAA Division III National Coaching Staff of the Year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced today.
Head Coach Jim Roberts with assistants Lisa Octave and Dan Terlizzi led the Wolfpack to an NJCAA Division III Region XX and District H Championships and a third-place finish at the NJCAA Division III Championship. WCCC fell to eventual champion Monroe on the final day of the Championship tournament.
Three WCCC players, sophomore pitcher Nikki Lindberg, sophomore shortstop Kari Margliotti and freshman Kelsey Criner were selected to the All-Tournament Team.
