LOUISVILLE, KY. –  Unlike last week’s poll where the top teams struggled making way for several new teams, this week saw almost no movement in the top 25.  LaGrange (Texas) remains on top scoring wins over Caldwell (Texas) and Giddings (Texas) this past week.

Two of California’s best, No. 7 Los Alamitos and No. 9 Mission Viejo, were set to square off for the third time this season at the Michelle Carew Classic tournament when the game was called for rain.  Los Alamitos and Mission Viejo split in their previous two meetings.

The USA Today Sports/NFCA High School Super 25 will be released every Thursday through June 9.

State rankings submitted by NFCA member coaches are used to help compile the USA Today Sports/NFCA High School Super 25. Records for this week’s poll include all games played through April 11.
