LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Mack Blair of Lakeside High School (Atlanta, Ga.) garnered 2020-21 MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week honors for her outstanding performance during the week of Oct. 5-11.
Contributing to a powerful Lakeside offense, Blair roped six doubles and registered 10 RBI in three victories for the Vikings. For the week, Blair was 11-for-13 (.846) with six doubles, a home run, 10 RBI, four runs scored and a 1.538 slugging percentage. The senior captain went 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles and five RBI in a 22-20 triumph over Tucker High School. Blair notched three hits, all doubles, with three runs scored and two RBI against Langston Hughes High School. In her first contest of the week, Blair homered, doubled and drove in three runs against Westlake High School.

The MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week is announced on NFCA.org every Monday during the fall season, with one representative chosen from the participating regions. During the spring campaign, a player from each of five separate high school regions is selected.
