LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Highlighted by a two-home run, seven-RBI performance, Mountain Range (Colo.) High School senior Riley Craig is the MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Player of the Week for contests played August 31 through September 6.

Behind the monstrous performance, Craig hit .824 (14-17) with three doubles, a triple, three home runs, 14 RBI, 11 runs and a 1.647 slugging percentage. Over the four-game stretch, the senior third baseman recorded at least three hits in each contest and was perfect defensively at the hot corner. That performance continued her hot start to the week, which began by going 3-for-3 with a double, home run, three RBI and two runs scored against Northglenn. Craig capped off her week on Sept. 5 by going a combined 7-for-10 with a pair of doubles, four RBI and five runs scored in victories over Horizon (4-5, 2 doubles, 3 RBI) and Rampart (3-5, 4 runs).
