Barbers Hill’s pitching staff twirled five shutouts and allowed just two runs during its unblemished run through the tournament. After Thursday’s opening-day wins over Langham Creek (9-0) and Bridgeland (9-2), the Eagles rattled off four straight shutouts against, Klein Cain (4-0), Cypress Ranch (1-0), Seven Lakes (1-0) and Cypress Fair (10-0).

This marked the 25th year of the tournament hosted by Bryan High School head coach Enrique Luna. The previously-named Bryan-College Station Tournament was renamed in 2019 when Luna, who is the current high school representative on the NFCA Board of Directors, partnered with the NFCA.
Next year’s tournament dates are already set and will take place Feb. 17-19.
