She also went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, two homers and four runs scored against West Phoenix.

South Region – Madison Aughinbaugh (St. Mary’s Ryken – Leonardtown, Md.)

Capping off her outstanding week, Aughinbaugh twirled a one-hit shutout in a six-inning win over George Washington. Aughinbaugh registered three hits and three runs apiece against Jefferson and George Washington, and doubled once in each of the final three games of the week

East Region – Cameron Lischinsky (Lakeland HS – Shrub Oak, N.Y.)

In the season opener, Lischinsky was 4-for-4 at the plate, clubbed two doubles and a home run, knocked in five and scored four more runs. On Friday, she added three more hits to her resume against Carmel. Lischinsky doubled, drove in two and scored twice. In addition, she walked once in each contest and reached base safely in all nine plate appearances.

North Region – Maggie Balint (Avon Grove HS – West Grove, Pa.)
Balint began her senior campaign by striking out 38 and tossing a no-hitter in three starts for the Red Devils last week. Making her third start of the week, Balint no-hit East High School, fanning nine and walking one in a five-inning 10-0 victory. After she struck out 12 in a one-hitter against Henderson, the senior captain struck out a week-best 17 batters in a four-hit shutout of Unionville. At the plate, she hit .500 (5-for-10), which included a 3-for-4, three-RBI outing with her first home run of the season versus Unionville.
