Ten programs have punched their ticket to the 2021 NAIA Softball World Series. The 40th annual World Series event takes place May 27-June 2 at the South Commons Complex in Columbus, Ga.
2019 defending champions Southern Oregon makes its return to the World Series as the No. 1 overall seed. The Raiders, who swept through their bracket, were just one of two top seeds to advance from their respective brackets.
Joining Southern Oregon as the other No. 1 seed is Cascade Collegiate Conference and in-state rival Oregon Tech, who also went undefeated through its bracket. Riding an 11-game win streak, the Hustlin' Owls are making their fourth straight appearance.
Bethany, Mount Mercy and Houston-Victoria were the three No. 4 seeds to advance, while Milligan came out of the Lawrenceville Bracket to earn the program’s first-ever trip to the NAIA World Series.
Rounding out the 10-team field is College of Idaho, Madonna, Olivet Nazarene and Ottawa (Kan.).
