LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Boston University’s Caitlin Coker and USF’s Georgina Corrick captured the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player and Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the week honors. The duo was recognized for their outstanding play during the week of April 26-May 2.
Coker posted a tremendous weekend at the plate and on the base paths to key the 32-2 Terriers’ sweep of Lafayette. The sophomore from Downingtown, Pa. went 10-for-13 (.769) with three doubles, a triple, 13 runs scored and three RBI. Coker was a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen bases, slugged 1.154 and registered a .786 on-base percentage.
