LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Gretchen Bowie of St. John’s and Paige Parker of Oklahoma were named the final Louisville/Slugger NFCA Division I National Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the 2018 season. The duo was selected for their outstanding performance for games played April 30-May 6.

The BIG EAST Player of the Week homered and added three more RBI in game two of the twinbill, which clinched a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament.

Parker capped of the regular season with 10.1 innings of shutout ball to help the Sooners sweep Bedlam from Oklahoma State. She twirled a five-inning no-hitter in the opener on May 2, fanning five Cowgirls and walking one in an 8-0 victory.
