Patella powered IUP to seven wins last week, batting .640 (16-for-25) with two doubles, four home runs and 13 RBI. She recorded a base knock in all eight contests, including four multi-hit games, while hitting .556 with runners in scoring position. The freshman catcher & third baseman also went 7-for-7 with three RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Mercyhurst.

Barnhart twirled a pair of complete-game shutouts against Palm Beach Atlantic last week. She scattered nine hits, struck out 18 and walked two over 14 innings. Barnhart did not allow an extra-base hit. In her first start, the junior hurler fanned 12 and allowed two hits. Barnhart followed up with seven punchouts in her second outing.
