LOUISVILLE, Ky. –  Dixie State outfielder Janessa Bassett and North Georgia hurler Kylee Smith were named the Louisville/Slugger NFCA Division II National Player and Pitcher of the week, respectively. The duo earned the honor after outstanding play for the week of Feb. 5-11.

Bassett, a native of Stansbury Park, Utah, had a career week in helping No. 9 Dixie State (8-0) collect six wins last week.
