Categories: Hitting

Type: drill

Purpose: To work on hitting the ball hard and on a line.

Execution: Players can perform this drill in groups of two (one to be the hitter and one to drop the balls). One player drops balls on the inside and outside parts of the plate. Set up two tees five to six feet from the hitter. A final back tee should be placed between the front two tees 25 to 30 feet from the hitter.

The hitter should try to drive pitches between the front two tees and to either side of the back tee.
