LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the nine recipients of the 2026 Cal JC Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, on Thursday.
Highlighting the squad are five student-athletes who were named 2026 NFCA Cal JC All-Americans, including a pair from Palomar College – Alexis Huey (First Base) and Gisele Gonzalez (Center field). Cerritos College pitcher Tatyana Cortez , College of San Mateo catcher Love Cabanas and Citrus College right fielder Alivia Martinez were the other three All-America / Gold Glove dual recipients.
In all, seven programs were represented in 2026. San Mateo joined Palomar with two honorees each. Joining her Bulldog teammate, Cabanas, is shortstop Peyton Huber.
Completing the infield is Long Beach City College’s Haleigh Jacobs at second base and Mt. San Antonio’s Desiree Morales at third base. Left fielder Juliana Ursino from Fullerton College was the final Gold Glove outfielder.
Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, presented by the NFCA, were selected by a full NFCA Cal JC membership vote following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete who competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
