LOUISVILLE, Ky. — USA Softball has extended its partnership with the NFCA, signing a multi-year agreement as an Official Sponsor of the Association. The National Governing Body for Softball in the United States continues to be the title sponsor of the NFCA Convention’s Softball Summit and the Convention’s attendee gift.
“We are thrilled to have USA Softball renew their Official Sponsorship,” said NFCA Executive Director Carol Bruggeman. “A harmonious working relationship between the governing body of softball and the NFCA is imperative for the overall growth of the sport. USA Softball has been, and continues to be, a fantastic partner. With softball back in the Olympics in 2028, hosted in the United States, there is an unprecedented level of excitement around the sport. We look forward to building upon this excitement through the numerous initiatives in our new multi-year agreement.”
Additionally, the NFCA and USA Softball will continue to work jointly in producing educational material for the ACE (Aspire, Challenge, Encourage) Coach Program and select international softball clinics. ACE Coaches will have an opportunity to purchase a first-time discounted NFCA membership. The program is designed to provide softball coaches of all levels – from beginning coaches to experienced veterans – an opportunity to be educated as a coach with a national softball organization.
"At USA Softball, we are thrilled to extend our partnership with the NFCA, an organization that shares our passion for the growth and development of softball,” said Craig Cress CEO of USA Softball. “Together, we are committed to supporting coaches and fostering the next generation of athletes, ensuring the sport continues to thrive at all levels."
The Softball Summit is a 'must-attend' event at Convention. It affords attendees the opportunity to hear relevant issues surrounding the sport from various softball dignitaries. Additionally, each division representative on the NFCA's Board of Directors addresses their respective division's state of the industry.
The NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) is the professional organization for fastpitch softball coaches. Known for its highly-regarded Awards Program, the NFCA also educates and supports softball coaches on a variety of different levels: from NFCA podcasts to a comprehensive drills database, to in-person events and a National Convention.
