Tyler, Texas — Jo Jablonski hit two home runs, including the first of back-to-back homers with Samie Seamon in the fourth, as Wisconsin-Whitewater beat East Texas Baptist, 5-0, to advance to Sunday’s 3:30 p.m. ET matchup with defending titlist Tufts University at the NCAA Division III Championship at Texas-Tyler’s Suddenlink Field.

Jablonski also had a two-run homer in the second to get the (39-12) Warhawks on the scoreboard. Paige Evangelista walked with the bases loaded in the third for the other Wisconsin-Whitewater run. Bekka Houda struck out only one, but limited the (45-10) Tigers to just five hits in a complete-game victory in the circle.

The Warhawks need to defeat the (44-3) Jumbos twice Sunday to advance.

East Texas Baptist (45-10), meanwhile, ends its season on the four-year anniversary of its 2010 national championship run. Kayla Garcia and Mallory Westbrook had two hits each in the loss.

St. Thomas 4, Montclair State 3

The (44-8) Tommies used five hits, including three doubles, to erase a 1-0 deficit in a four-run sixth and fended off a two-run Montclair rally in the bottom of the seventh to survive to Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET game with Salisbury.

Emily Gregory went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Katie Jo Deslisle struck out two of the five batters she faced in the seventh in relief of starter Kendra Bowe to close things out.

St. Thomas needs to beat the (42-3) Sea Gulls twice Sunday to advance.

Dana Amato, Brianna Davidson and Tara Petrucelli all had two hits in the season-ending loss for the (42-8) Red Hawks.
