LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Neosho’s (Mo.) Sadee Leach and Liberty’s (Mo.) Lucy Reliford garnered the latest GameChanger/NFCA Fall High School National Player and Pitcher of the Week honors of the 2026 season, the Association announced on Monday.
Junior catcher Leach went 4-for-5 (.800) last week for the Wildcats with two doubles, a homer, a walk and four RBI. Her 15th homer of the season extended her single-season school mark and makes a record 24 for her career with another varsity season still to play after this one. Leach also accumulated 20 putouts and two assists behind the plate and picked a runner off.
Reliford, meanwhile, was 3-0 in the circle, allowing just three hits and one run over 12 innings for the Blue Jays. The sophomore right-hander also helped herself at the plate, hitting .571 over five contests with four doubles, four homers, 11 RBI and no strikeouts. That includes a three-homer game.
