LOUISVILLE, Ky. – CeCe Myers of Thomasville High School (Ga.) was named MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week and is being recognized for her outstanding performance during the week of Aug. 21-27.
Myers hit .889 (8-for-9), drove in 15 runs and slugged 1.667 over a three-game sweep of Monroe High School. She posted two doubles, a triple, home run and eight runs scored, while reaching base at a .900 clip. In a doubleheader, Myers (7-for-7) tallied six RBI and three runs scored in each contest with a double and homer in game two. She added a double and three RBI in the first matchup of last week.

by Sunday evening to be eligible for that week’s award.
The MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week is announced on NFCA.org every Monday during the fall season.
