LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Newburgh Free Academy’s (N.Y.) Parker Mullarkey, Round Lake’s (Ill.) Piper Berry, Loudoun Valley’s (Va.) Anna Ramos, Villa Madonna’s (Ky.) Cam Kratzer and Garfield’s (Calif.) Nadia Carrillo captured 2025 MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Spring Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon. They are being recognized for their outstanding play during the week of May 5-11.

Mullarkey garnered East Region honors, going 5-for-5 with six runs, two doubles, a triple, two homers and seven RBI for the Goldbacks. The sophomore doubled and homered in a loss to Kingston and doubled, tripled and homered in a win over Beacon.

In the North, Berry allowed one hit across two appearances for the Panthers. The freshman fanned five over two innings against Grayslake Central and struck out nine more over four versus Streamwood. She allowed two unearned runs and zero walks for the week.

Meanwhile, the Vikings’ Ramos was the South winner after going 5-for-5 with four runs, three doubles, two homers and nine RBI. She drove in seven of her nine runs in the second of two games against Dominion, where she had three hits and a double.

Kratzer was the choice in the South Central, going 8-for-8 with doubles and 13 RBI in two games for the Vikings. The sophomore had four hits in both contests, including three doubles and eight RBI against Calvary Christian.

In the West, Carrillo tossed six one-hit innings for the Bulldogs in two games versus South East, striking out 16 of the 19 batters she faced, then fanned eight more batters against Marquez over her final seven innings in the circle. She struck out 12 over four innings in the first of those two games against South East, then four more versus the Jaguars two days later.
