LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Central’s (Mass.) Radeliz Diaz, Marcellus’ (Mich.) Hannah Sharp, Trenton’s (Fla.) Addison Allaire, Johnson Central’s (Ky.) Julie Dials and Moreau Catholic’s (Calif.) Yazlin Rodrigues captured the latest MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Spring Player of the Week awards of the 2026 season, the Association announced on Tuesday. They are being recognized for their outstanding play for the week of May 11-17.

Diaz delivered six hits and seven RBI for the Golden Eagles to pace all East Region players. In addition to being a perfect 6-for-6 at the plate, the sophomore scored four times, doubled once, hit three triples and walked twice. She had multiple extra-base hits against both Ludlow and Sabis International, and drove in at least three in each contest.

In the North, Sharp was 8-for-8 with 12 runs, three doubles, a triple, two homers, four walks and seven RBI for the Wildcats. She went 5-for-5 with eight runs, three extra-base hits and four RBI in two games against Comstock last Monday, and added three hits, four more runs and another three RBI Friday versus Bloomingdale.

Allaire was the leader in the South Region, striking out 11 and walking three in a three-hitter against Williston last Tuesday. The Tiger junior yielded just one earned run from 30 batters faced in the contest.

South Central honors went to the Golden Eagles’ Dials, who went 9-for-10 with nine runs, two doubles, three homers, four walks and 11 RBI in four games. She arguably had her best game of the stretch in a loss to Boyd County on Friday, when she was 3-for-3 with three runs, a homer and four RBI.

Rodrigues garnered West Region recognition, fanning 10 for the Mariners in a lopsided five-inning victory last Thursday against American. She allowed one hit and no runs or walks while facing 16 batters.
