LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Foran’s (Conn.) Abigail Corris, Union Area’s (Pa.) Irelyn Fisher, Eastside’s (Va.) Braelyn Hall and Lewis Central’s (Iowa) Aubree Davis captured the final 2025 MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Spring Player of the Week honors of the season on Monday. They are being recognized for their outstanding play during the week of June 9-15.

Corris garnered East Region honors after a remarkable, dominant and workhorse effort in Lions’ 1-0 victory over three-time reigning state champion Woodland Regional in the Connecticut Class M final on Sunday night. The junior pitched all 13 innings of the pitcher’s duel with Woodland’s Ella Van Alstyne, throwing 188 pitches in the three hour, 17-minute affair, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out an eye-popping 32 batters. Corris fanned 13 in a one-hitter last Monday against Nonnewaug in the semifinals.

In the North, Fisher hit .677 (4-for-6) with a double, triple, homer and nine RBI over her two contests for the Scotties. The junior was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI versus Cambridge Springs last Monday, and added a triple, homer and five RBI on Friday against Northeast Bradford.

Meanwhile, Hall was the South winner after a week during which she compiled a 0.37 ERA and picked up three victories for the Spartans. The senior reached double figures in strikeouts in all three games, including 14 each against Buffalo Gap and Auburn. The win over Buffalo Gap was a no-hitter, and she had a two-hitter versus George Wythe and a three-hitter against Auburn. Her only walk for the week came in the first contest.

In the South Central, Davis was 14-for-18 (.778) with 11 runs, two doubles, two triples, three homers and 10 RBI over seven contests for the Titans. The senior had five multi-hit games, including three hits, two runs and two RBI in the first of two victories over St. Albert on Thursday, and another three hits (one a homer), three more runs and two RBI in a rout of Sioux City West on Friday.
