LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has announced 378 student-athletes from 154 programs have received 2026 NFCA Division I All-Region accolades.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association’s 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated student-athletes (eight maximum) and voted for the teams. All awarded student-athletes now become eligible for the 2026 NFCA Division I All-America squads.
2026 Division I All-Region Teams
University of Arkansas (Central), University of California Los Angeles (West), University of Nebraska (Mountain), University of Oklahoma (Midwest) and Virginia Tech (Mid-Atlantic) led the way with all eight of their nominations receiving All-Region recognition. All eight Sooners earned first-team status, followed closely by the Bruins with seven and the Hokies with six. Four Huskers and two Razorbacks grabbed first-team honors.
University of Alabama (South), Duke University (East) and University of Texas (Central) each boasted five first teamers out of their seven All-Region selections. Boston University (Northeast), University of Florida (Gulf), Indiana University (Great Lakes), University of Oregon (Mountain), Texas Tech University (Central) and University of Washington (Mountain) also had seven land on the All-Region teams. The Terriers, Gators and Red Raiders each garnered four first-team plaudits, the Huskies and Ducks captured three apiece and the Hoosiers had two.
Florida State also had five student-athletes on the first team and had six total earn All-Region. University of Nevada (Mountain) and Texas A&M University (Central) joined the Seminoles with six All-Region selections.
Ten programs – University of Arizona (West), Arizona State University (West), University of Central Florida (Gulf), Iowa State University (Midwest), Louisiana State University (Gulf), Mississippi State University (South), University of Nebraska Omaha (Midwest), Stanford University (West), University of Tennessee (Mid-Atlantic) and University of Virginia (East) - collected five all-region selections with the Wildcats, Tigers, Cardinal, Lady Vols and Cavaliers earning two first-team accolades.
Conference players and pitchers of the year from member institutions (must be nominated by their member head coach and receive votes) are added to the third team if they were not already voted to an All-Region squad. Additionally, in rare instances, limited regional nominations prevented a position from being filled.

The 2026 NFCA Division I All-America teams, voted on by the NFCA DI All-American Committee, will be announced on Wednesday, May 27.
