LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the nine recipients of the 2024 NCAA Division I Rawlings Gold Glove Award®, presented by the NFCA, on Wednesday during a press conference at the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.

NFCA All-Americans University of Florida catcher Jocelyn Erickson and University of Arizona left fielder Dakota Kennedy highlight this year’s recipients. Erickson was the unanimous All-America selection behind the dish and was also tabbed the Diamond Sports/NFCA Catcher of the Year. Kennedy earned a third-team plaudit and is the second straight Wildcat to capture Gold Glove status (2023 - Allie Skaggs, 2B).

Two programs – Florida and California State University, Fullerton – had multiple honorees as seven Division I programs were represented in 2024. Erickson was joined by Gator center fielder Kendra Falby. They are the second and third Gators to earn Gold Gloves (2022 - Hannah Adams, 2B).

First baseman Peyton Toto and right fielder Kate Verhoef nabbed the first-ever Gold Gloves for the Titans and the Big West Conference.

Erickson’s batterymate on the team is Troy University pitcher Libby Baker as she is the Trojans’ and Sun Belt Conference’s first representative.

Completing the infield is University of Georgia’s Sydney Kuma (second base), Texas Tech University’s Riley Love (third base) and University of Oregon’s Paige Sinicki (shortstop), all first-time winners from their respective programs.

Erickson and Falby are representing Florida at the Women’s College World Series.

Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the NFCA’s NCAA Division I All-America Committee, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
