LOUISVILLE, Ky. – No. 1 Saint Leo ran its win streak to 37 games to remain atop the 2026 NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. Showing no signs of rust after a 12 days off, the Lions (42-2-1) secured their first Sunshine State Conference title in nearly a decade with a three-game sweep of Lynn at home.
Saint Leo, who also earned the league’s automatic postseason bid, capped off an unbeaten run at home (24-0-1) with 4-0, 5-1 and 10-2 victories. The Lions, who now own the longest active win streak in Division II, wrap up their regular season on the road at Eckerd next weekend.
The second-ranked Greyhounds (53-3) concluded their regular season on Sunday with a pair of run-rule wins at home over Lewis to finish 27-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. UIndy, which clinched its 10th league crown last week, also set a program record for regular-season wins, marking the third 50-win season in the last four years.
The next two teams – Colorado Christian and Pittsburg State – behind the top two went a combined 2-6 and dropped to No. 6 and 14, respectively. CCU saw its incredible 47-game win streak come to an end on the final weekend of the season as it split with second-place CSU Pueblo in RMAC action. The Cougars (52-4) last lost on Feb. 3 against Western Washington. The Gorillas (45-8) were swept by Missouri Western and new-No. 7 Missouri Southern in their final two MIAA doubleheaders.
Those defeats by CCU and Pitt State allowed No. 3 Cal State San Marcos (47-6), No. 4 West Texas A&M (46-6) and No. 5 North Georgia (42-8) to improve on their rankings. All three programs won their respective conference regular-season titles, including the 12th consecutive Peach Belt crown for the fifth-ranked NightHawks.
Coming in after Colorado Christian and MIAA champs Missouri Southern (45-7) is No. 8 AUM (41-9), No. 9 Francis Marion (44-11) and No. 10 Southern Arkansas (43-7).
Other ranked programs capturing regular-season titles were No. 11 West Florida (40-10) in the Gulf South, No. 12 Lenoir-Rhyne in the South Atlantic Conference, No. 19 Franklin Pierce in the Northeast 10 and No. 22 Concordia in the PacWest. No. 20 Winona State and No. 25 St. Cloud State shared the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference crown.
It marked the first-ever regular-season championships for the 19th-ranked Ravens (40-8) and the 25th-ranked Huskies (44-12). Not only was it the first conference championship for St. Cloud State, it marks the first time since 2004.
