LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has revealed the 2026 NFCA Division II All-Region teams. The 2026 squads are comprised of 205 student-athletes from 108 programs.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association’s eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2026 NFCA Division II All-America squads.
Cal State San Marcos, the West Region’s top seed, led all programs with six All-Region selections, four on the first team. Regional top seeds, No. 1 Saint Leo University (South) and No. 21 Shippensburg University (Atlantic), were each awarded five all-region honors with the Lions having three first teamers and the Raiders with one.
West Texas A&M University (South Central), Franklin Pierce University (East) and Lenoir-Rhyne College (Southeast) matched San Marcos with four first-team selections. The Lady Buffs, Ravens and Bears are three of nine programs which collected four overall plaudits. Joining them are Angelo State University (South), Carson-Newman University (Southeast), Eckerd College (South), Fairmont State University (Atlantic), Missouri Southern State University (Central) and University of North Georgia (Southeast).
Of those above-mentioned programs, Angelo State, Eckerd, Missouri Southern and North Georgia scored two first-team selections.
Fourteen more programs had three student-athletes recognized, with Auburn University at Montgomery (South), East Stroudsburg University (Atlantic), Francis Marion University (Southeast) and Saginaw Valley State University (Midwest) boasting all first-team selections. Colorado State University-Pueblo (South Central), University of Indianapolis (Midwest), and Oklahoma Christian University (South Central) each earned two first-teamers.
Adelphi University (East) and McKendree University (Midwest) also captured two first-team honorees.
Conference players and pitchers of the year from member institutions (must be nominated by member head coach and receive votes) are added to the second team if they were not already voted to an All-Region squad.
The 2026 NFCA Division II All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, May 27.
