LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the nine recipients of 2024 NCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, on Thursday.
Two 2024 NFCA All-Americans – Augustana senior Gracey Brink and Wilmington junior Tristyn Stewart - highlight this year’s award winners. Brink, a catcher, and Stewart, a left fielder, each earned their second All-America honors. The speedster Stewart also was named the 2024 NFCA Golden Shoe recipient.
Brink’s batterymate on the team is junior pitcher Amiee Shanks from Fort Lewis College. Rogers State junior first baseman Bridgett Morales, UAH junior second baseman Lawren Hayes, Wingate senior third baseman Ragan Liles and Nova Southeastern junior shortstop Brenna Lokeinsky complete the infield plaudits.
Rounding out 2024’s outfielders are graduate center fielder Kristy Alanis from Texas A&M International and sophomore right fielder Brianna Gallagher from Catawba College.
Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the NFCA’s NCAA Division II All-America Committee, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
