LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Unbeaten Virginia Wesleyan extended its win streak to 24 games to maintain its hold on the top spot in the NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll, the Association announced on Tuesday.

The (24-0) Marlins, who haven’t lost since last year’s NCAA Division III championship series, added six more victories to stay No. 1 in the rankings for a fourth straight week. Virginia Wesleyan logged twinbill sweeps of Randolph, Roanoke and Bridgewater (Va.).

Second-ranked Trine (15-1), which dealt the Marlins their last defeat in winning its second national title in the past three years, continued their winning ways as well, taking two from Ohio Northern in its only action. In fact, no team in the first 14 lost, going a combined 39-0, which resulted in no changes among the top nine ranked squads.

The first change came at No. 10, where Tufts (15-3) led a gain of one place apiece for the next four teams. WashU (16-3-1), Simpson (17-2) and St. Thomas (21-5) were the other three.

A split at then-No. 25 Eastern dropped Rowan (17-5) four spots to 14th, ahead of Chapman (20-5) and Wisconsin-Oshkosh (16-4), who both moved up three places. Stockton (15-1) continued its solid start, collecting four more triumphs to go from receiving votes to the No. 19 position.

Husson, which was poised to stay at No. 22 after not playing, was actually voted two places higher, with just three votes separating the (13-1) Eagles, Central (16-2) and Concordia (22-6) in spots 20-22. The No. 22 Tornadoes lead four newcomers to close out the Top 25 this week.

The NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll is selected by 10 NCAA Division III head coaches representing the 10 NCAA regions. Current 2026 records are listed, with first-place votes in parentheses.
